Salesforce Marketing Cloud - May '20 Release: Einstein Highlights

Today's Feature Friday is dedicated to the most important new features in the Einstein area that went live with the SFMC release in May 2020.

Live Einstein Performance Metrics

In the Einstein Overview app, you can now find a complete dashboard with performance data from all active Einstein products. Until recently, you were only shown here which Einstein products have not yet been activated. There is now a tile for each Einstein product — and corresponding live data is displayed on the tiles of all products used in the account. We think this is a nice new feature that provides a consolidated overview of all Einstein data.

Send Time Optimization Recommendations

The Einstein Send Time Optimization Dashboard has been redesigned to make the presentation of the calculated optimal delivery time even clearer and clearer. Since the release, the probability value for an email opening can now be displayed for any time and day of the week. Einstein can then also recommend a delivery time.

In addition, Send Time Optimization (STO) can now also be tested quantitatively by adding a random sending path to a journey. Contacts who walk along this test path will be contacted at random times. Their performance can then be compared with the performance of the STO path.

Einstein Content Selection

With Einstein Content Selection, various features have been optimized. In the Performance Analytics area, content can now be grouped according to previously assigned attributes (asset attributes), making it easier to see which content is doing well and which is not. Managing content is also becoming easier: With the release, it is now not only possible to archive outdated content and thus keep the dashboard clearer; new content can now also be uploaded via CSV upload.
