Salesforce Summer '22 Release - Pardot Updates
Before we get to the announced changes as part of the Summer '22 release, we would like to briefly point out that Pardot is no longer available! As part of a major consolidation of Marketing Cloud products in particular, Pardot was also renamed by Salesforce and is now called”Marketing Cloud Account Engagement“(There is even a long version of the name:”Marketing Cloud Account Engagement — powered by Pardot“). Without wishing to be sentimental: Pardot will be missed! Fortunately, everything under the hood remains the same for now, except for the following new features.

Conditional Completion Actions
A wish cherished by many Pardot users has been fulfilled: In future, it will be possible to make it possible to make completion actions such as forms or form handlers subject to conditions. Many use cases, which previously had to be implemented either through several automation rules or an engagement program, will be much easier to implement. It will also be possible to combine standard and conditional completion actions, so that part of the completion actions of a form will be executed for all prospects that submit the form (standard; as before), while another part will only be executed for those prospects that meet the criteria set (conditional).
Send notifications in Slack via completion action
As expected, the integration of Pardot and Slack will continue to expand. Notifications can now be sent to a defined channel in Slack via Completion Action. This requires you to install the Marketing Cloud Account Engagement app in Slack and then set up the Slack Connector in Pardot. The completion action for Slack notifications is then available as an option on the corresponding Pardot assets.
Email Bounce Report
Until now, it was sometimes quite tedious to get an overview of the bounces. With the new Email Bounce Report, there will be a point of contact where all bounces from the last year — regardless of whether emails sent by Pardot Classic, Enhanced Emails, Automated Emails or Inbox Integrations — can be viewed in a summary.
Enhanced Landing Page Builder improvements
For the new landing page builder, there will be a total of 10 (!) Make innovations. For a more detailed overview of the individual points, take a look at the corresponding article in the release notes.

- Total suppressed prospects
- Totally unmailable prospects
- Total Duplicate Prospects
