Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Find and remove contacts in Journeys
For today's Feature Friday, we looked at a feature in Journey Builder that went live with the July release: Tracking individual contacts in Journeys. With this new functionality, it is possible to see where a contact is on a journey and which path they have traveled so far with just a few clicks. If necessary, contacts can then also be removed from the journey.
We've tested the new feature for the first time — it works flawlessly. The only thing to consider at the moment is that only Journey contacts are found who have entered the journey since the July release went live on August 1; an error message is thrown for older contacts.
Our conclusion: Until now, it was virtually impossible to track the status of an individual contact in a journey with simple means or even remove them from a journey. With this new functionality, Salesforce has added a long-awaited feature to Journey Builder, which already allows us to work more efficiently.
