Salesforce Marketing Cloud - Highlights 2020

A very eventful year is drawing to a close and as project business comes to an end, there is time to look back on one or the other. In five major releases this year, Salesforce Marketing Cloud added a variety of new features and improvements. Reason enough to ask about the 2020 feature highlights in the team.

Here is an excerpt of our very individual top features:

Einstein Send Time Optimization and Einstein Engagement Frequency Split

Why It's simple: They represent another important step towards addressing recipients in a very individual way. Segmentations and AB testing are effective ways to optimize your own communication.

But in the end, every customer is unique — even with regard to when he or she is most receptive to our messages!

Behavioral Triggers

They enable users to set up shopping cart, browse and wishlist cancellation campaigns themselves and display the desired products with the Behavioral Triggers Content Block. This has made it much easier to set up these campaigns that are so important and have high conversion rates for marketers. This feature also helps to send recipients relevant content at the right time.

Interactive Email

Why Senders can now generate data from their email recipients with even fewer hurdles, exactly where the emails are read — without media disruption. This opens up new opportunities for companies, for example when it comes to inquiries of interest, profile enhancements or surveys.

Interaction Studio 2.0

Why The evergage-based Interaction Studio offers completely new options for journey orchestration and real-time interaction with customers and prospects.

The implementation or integration of Next Best Offer and Next Best Action-based communication can now be achieved with manageable effort, which sometimes represents a major step in the development of recipient-centered marketing communication.

Deployment Manager

Why Because with the extended options of the current Deployment Manager, transfers of elements from one business unit to another work very easily, thus ensuring consistency between the BUs and avoiding errors, and saving a lot of time at the same time.
