Salesforce Marketing Cloud - October 2020 Release Highlights

The Marketing Cloud October 2020 release is just around the corner — the time has come on 29.10. On today's Feature Friday, we'll be presenting you with a few highlights in advance, which we want to look at in more detail over the next few weeks. We are particularly excited about the following new features:

Customer 360 Audiences

Customer 360 Audiences, Salesforce's own customer data platform, makes it possible to create standardized customer profiles, create segments on their basis and personalize their communication across all channels used.

Interaction Studio Triggers for Journey Builder

With Interaction Studio, segments are created in real time based on people's actions on the website, in emails, in an app, etc. These segments can now be used as triggers for journeys.

What's new with Einstein for Marketing Cloud

There are several new features in the Einstein area, including Einstein Engagement Frequency for push messages, a new Einstein Engagement Frequency Split Activity in Journey Builder, and the Einstein Data Quality Score.

Set up SSL certificates for custom domains yourself

In future, SSL certificates for custom domains can be set up in the setup yourself. This replaces a process that previously required intensive coordination with support.

Enhanced functionality with Alert Manager

The error notifications sent by Alert Manager will contain more details in the future, such as error descriptions and error counts.

Here you can find the complete Release Notes.
